“ Anything happen at the ER today?” I asked my ride-share client, Eric.

He mumbled out something incoherent along with the word :fluids.

“OK so no cut off finger,” I said jokingly.

“No nothing like that,” he said.

I like to ask my ride-share clients questions about their hospital stay because I’ve had some very interesting 🧐 stories.

One client that she was having anxiety and hadn’t been eating well during the pandemic (she was quite skinny)

another time I picked up someone and while leaving the parking lot, I noticed a woman being escorted by the security and she hit the trunk of my car 🚘 in frustration.

One time I picked up a psych client who asked me

“should I go to Houston or California?

and I told him if he had plans to be homeless him he better go to California.
